Selon la perspective de la cognition incarnée, les processus mentaux sont ancrés dans le corps au travers de ses expériences sensorielles et motrices. Les représentations conceptuelles, et plus généralement l’ensemble des connaissances acquises, reposent sur la réactivation des réseaux d'activation cérébrale sensorimoteurs qui ont été activés lors de l'expérience réelle de ce à quoi renvoie cette connaissance. En bref, cette approche étudie l'activité de l'esprit humain en tenant compte de son ancrage dans le corps et de l'interaction avec son environnement.
Ce livre rassemble les avancées scientifiques les plus récentes sur les liens entre fonctionnement sensorimoteur et cognition. Il couvre les champs scientifiques abordés classiquement en psychologie et neurosciences cognitives, tels que la perception, la mémoire, la conscience, l’attention, les représentations spatiales, la communication, la cognition sociale, les émotions, le langage, la cognition numérique, le raisonnement, l’intelligence artificielle et la créativité

Ce cinquième volume de la série Artistes-chercheurs et production de connaissances depuis la scène, vise à stimuler, rendre visible et diffuser les théâtres d'innovation ibéro-américains dans le domaine de la création-recherche et de la recherche participative. Avec cette nouvelle publication, la série comprend désormais plus de 100 écrits de modes discursifs variés (articles, essais, entretiens, lettres, manifestes, fragments de thèses) produits dans de nombreux pays d'Amérique et d'Europe. Les cinq volumes sont ainsi proposés comme un point de vue sur la pensée théâtrale en/sur l'ibéro-Amérique, pour sa reconnaissance dans nos théâtrologies territorialisées et dans le monde. Ce volume V intègre 17 travaux de 21 artistes-chercheurs et chercheurs participatifs sur un large spectre de thématiques centrales en recherche-création : les théâtralités des peuples autochtones et leurs remaniements contemporains, les pratiques du théâtre communautaire, la danse et ses processus de création, le jeu d'acteur et technologies, l'acteur et l'actrice en tant que chercheurs et spectateurs, l'expansion du concept de théâtre national, les relations entre le corps et les entreprises numériques, la dramaturgie et les droits de l'homme, ultraincarnation du corps de l'acteur/actrice, entre autres sujets. Watteau, Gersaint et le pont Notre-Dame à Paris au temps des Lumières
Les enjeux d'une restitution numérique

Le pont Notre-Dame fut l'un des ponts habités les plus extraordinaires de Paris. Son histoire reste attachée à un événement : la présentation éphémère en façade de la boutique de Gersaint de la fameuse Enseigne peinte par Watteau en 1720. À quoi ressemblait ce pont monumental avant la destruction de ses habitations ? Pourquoi L’Enseigne de Gersaint eut-elle un tel retentissement ? Comment se projeter dans cet univers si étranger à notre expérience actuelle des ponts parisiens ? Comment dépasser l’image mentale que chacun peut se faire à partir des sources qui nous sont parvenues ? Autant de questions qui ont motivé cette restitution numérique du pont Notre-Dame. En s’attachant à restituer le sens des espaces et des volumes de son architecture disparue, ainsi qu’à rendre sensible l’ambiance lumineuse et sonore de son environnement, ses auteurs offrent une exploration inédite en 5D du pont, ainsi qu’une réflexion sur l’apport des technologies numériques à la recherche historique.
