Get-In-Past

The Get-In-Past project is an innovative interdisciplinary initiative that combines the history of dance, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Hosted by the Federation for Research in Visual Sciences and Cultures, this ambitious project aims to reconstruct 18th century Baroque dances, drawing on a manuscript written by Auguste Ferrère, a ballet master, on the occasion of a performance held in Valenciennes in 1782. This project has also given rise to a number of outreach initiatives, such as a lecture-performance and an artistic work entitled L’Isle des Foux
